Community Health Champions & Community Health Trainers
Health and wellbeing messages shared by members of a community are typically more readily received. So we have worked to support and train individuals as Community Health Champions to informally share relevant information based on identified needs.
We have also trained a small number of Community Health Trainers to provide one-to-one support where individuals want to address a specific health behaviour. Ongoing support and training is provided through the Southern Trust.
