Chaplaincy Services

The Chaplaincy Service recognises that there will be increased anxiety and concerns relating to the Covid 19 outbreak and the Chaplains will be available to provide spiritual and pastoral support for patients, family and staff within the Southern Trust Hospitals.

The Chaplaincy Service has adapted Government and Trust guidance and they have arranged for temporary arrangements for providing support during this period.

Support Provision

For emergencies, the Chaplain on-call can be contacted through Switchboard, who will link in with the Ward Sister / Charge Nurse of the ward or unit the person is in.

For non-emergency calls, the patient can contact the Chaplaincy Phone Support Service via Switchboard.  This support service is also available for families and staff.
