The Chaplaincy Service remains available to provide spiritual and pastoral support for all patients, family and staff within the Southern Trust Hospitals. They do so in light of Government and Trust guidance in relation to safe ministry in a time of pandemic.
Routine visits across the wards continue and end-of-life / emergency chaplaincy cover remains in place. Chaplains can be contacted via Switchboard at the relevant hospital.
A weekly Mass for the Sick is recorded from Daisy Hill Hospital Chapel and can be viewed on the Parish of Middle Killeavy YouTube page HERE.
The NI Healthcare Chaplains’ Association has set up a designated website offering resources and links that may be helpful https://ni-chaplains.online/ or the Facebook Page: NI-Chaplains-for-patients-staff-and-families)
Chaplaincy resources have been left on the wards and the patients can ask the staff for them.
