Request to Speak at a Trust Board Meeting
Members of the public are able to request the opportunity to speak at upcoming Trust Board meetings. If you would like to do so, please send your request by email to trustboard@southerntrust.hscni.net. To ensure we can plan appropriately, we kindly ask that you provide at least three days notice prior to the meeting. For example, where a meeting occurs on a Thursday, your request must be received by 12:00 midday on the Monday before. In your email, please include:
- Your name and contact details
- The agenda item you wish to speak about
- A brief outline of the points you intend to raise
Please note that all speaking requests are subject to review by the Chair of Trust Board to confirm if your request can be accommodated.
Other Ways to Share Your Views
We value your feedback. There are several other ways to communicate with the Trust, these include the following:
Service User Feedback/Complaints
We want to give the best service to all our residents, services users and clients, and their relatives and carers. Usually we succeed – but sometimes things can go wrong. When this happens, we want to hear about it so we can put things right. More information can be found here.
Personal and Public Involvement (PPI) / User Involvement
Personal and Public Involvement (PPI) is a process which enables service users, carers and the public to influence the commissioning, planning, delivery and evaluation of health and social care services with the ultimate aim of co-design and co-production. More information can be found here.
