The Neonatal multidisciplinary team aim to promote Family integrated care by supporting , educating and empowering parents to provide as much care as possible to their baby during their stay in neonatal .
Our Neonatal Unit works closely with our sister unit in Daisy Hill and babies will move between units as required depending on the level of care required.
Our unit also operates as part of the Neonatal Network and babies may be transferred between units in Northern Ireland, to facilitate families being close to home or to free up capacity to admit infants requiring different levels of care.
