Motor skills can be broken up into two main groups:
Gross Motor, these are large body movements like crawling, walking and jumping.
Fine Motor: These are the more small movements that require your hands; pointing, pinching and turning things over in your hand.
Children do not necessarily develop them all at the same time. Try not to compare your child to others as they all take their own paths, which can be led by their interests.
