The gynaecology ward is the area of practice that involves the treatment of women’s health and reproductive organs.
It is situated in Craigavon Area Hospital Maternity level 1.
We have 15 trained nurses and four HCA’s, one ward manager and one clinical sister
We are a 12 bedded ward.
Our patients are both Gynae and medical admissions.
We admit patients with all gynae problems and all ages, such as:
- Pre and post-operative surgery
- Hyperemesis- (early pregnancy sickness)
- Miscarriage loss up to 20 weeks gestation.
