Eating Disorders

The Adult Eating Disorder Service provides treatment for individuals suffering from Anorexia Nervosa and Bulimia Nervosa of all levels of severity. The service is based in Trasna House Lurgan with clinics in Armagh, Banbridge, Dungannon, Newry and Portadown.

The service encourages early intervention so if you feel that you need help with an Eating Disorder it is important to make an appointment with your GP who can then make a referral directly to the service.

Coronavirus has brought a lot of change into our lives including the way we are delivering our service. If you have an eating disorder or caring for someone that has an eating disorder you might have specific worries to do with the illness or treatment. Are you a Carer

The Southern Trust works with Action Mental Health every BODY  offers a confidential support services for those caring for someone with an eating disorder.

Useful resources

While these guides do not replace therapy especially if you have a low BMI or purging behaviours however they are helpful as you wait for your appointment.
