Cheque donation to Acute Services Fund

5th July 2021

An amazing £2050 has been raised for our Acute Services Fund by walking the length and breadth of Ireland.

During lockdown Lurgan man, John McComb took part in the Virtual Mental Health Step Challenge organised by Sean Treacy’s Hurling Club. The distance he walked was equivalent to walking the length and breadth of Ireland. Mr McComb, who works as a teacher, benefited from this and thought it would be good to raise money to help benefit others.

Mr McComb’s father, Gerard is a haematology patient and attends Mandeville Unit so he wanted the money he had raised to benefit these two areas.
