Celebrating the impact of Workplace Wellbeing Team at Staff Health and Wellbeing Fair

1st April 2026

The Southern Health and Social Care Trust has celebrated the contribution of its Workplace Wellbeing Team at a Staff Health and Wellbeing Fair, recognising the positive impact the team has had on wellbeing across the organisation.

The event took place on the St Luke’s Hospital site on at the end of March and provided an opportunity for staff to explore a wide range of wellbeing initiatives, services and supports, connect with colleagues and reflect on the work delivered by the Workplace Wellbeing Team over the past two years.

Since its formation in 2024, the team has delivered a comprehensive programme focused on improving health and wellbeing for colleagues across the Trust. This has included mindfulness sessions, arts‑based activities, physical health initiatives, nutritional advice and the promotion of positive mental health.

Over the past two years, the team has delivered wellbeing sessions resulting in 9,619 staff contacts, and hosted a series of health and wellbeing fairs at which they engaged directly with more than 500 staff members across Trust sites. Innovative and flexible approaches were developed to help staff access support despite busy schedules and challenging working patterns.
