The Children and Young People’s Services team at Lisanally House in Armagh have received a generous donation of comfort items for their department.
It included supplies for all ages, such as arts and crafts materials, books, crayons, slippers, vests, socks, bottles, hats and pyjamas. 
The contribution was from a local young woman called Katie, who wished to remain anonymous, and who had chosen children in care as part of her annual act of giving.
Joanne Mills, Head of Service for Children in Care, expressed her appreciation:
“We are very grateful to members of the community who take the time to donate items to us. These will be given directly to children and families in need in the local area who will benefit greatly from them.”
