The Southern Trust is preparing for the implementation of encompass on 8 May 2025. With less than two months to go (55 Days), we held our 60 Day Go-Live Readiness Assessment event on Wednesday 5th March 2025.
This was our fourth GLRA event so far and another critical milestone in ensuring the smooth implementation of encompass.
This assessment focused on reviewing the key operational readiness activities such as technical build, staff training, Super Users, bedded cutover, data migration, go live planning and identifying any potential risks to be managed. Our Estates and IT colleagues were assessed ‘green to go’ by the region in surpassing End User Device requirements at this early stage.
Representatives from Epic, regional encompass, Digital Health Care Northern Ireland and other Trust colleagues participated both in person and virtually.
This is another fundamental moment in the Southern Trust journey and we were encouraged to reflect on the successes over the past 30 days. There has been a huge amount of progress, testament to the dedication and hard work of all staff right across the organisation.
With this strong momentum, we are confident that the Southern Trust is in a great place as we approach to Go-Live. Thanks to all staff once again for your unwavering support and hard work as we prepare for this exciting new digital transformation.
Our next and final GLRA event to assess our preparedness for 30 days to Go-Live will be on 9th April 2025.
