To facilitate essential refurbishment works to the waiting area within the Maternity Admission and Assessment Unit (MAU) at Craigavon Area Hospital, the service will be temporarily relocated to the Midwifery Led Unit (MLU) on Level Two within the maternity block.
This change will take effect from 07.30am on Monday 20th July. The works are expected to last for approximately three weeks; a further update will be shared once a confirmed completion date is available. The telephone number for the MAU remains unchanged and women should continue to contact the unit on 028 3756 1830.
Temporary signage will be in place to direct anyone attending the MAU during this period. The MLU will continue to operate as normal and every effort will be made to keep disruption to a minimum during this improvement works to the facility.
